I'm not sure what my hubby meant by saying the following: "If you get the bedroom cleaned out, I will paint it tonight."
That was Friday. I got the bedroom cleaned out, except for the bed, since it had to be taken apart. He didn't paint that night because he got home late and we decided to do it the next day. Saturday he had to work in the morning. I did a few things around the house, then met him to look at new mattresses (going from a twin day bed to a full size in that room). We bought a mattress, then had lunch and headed home. Then we proceeded to make sure we had all the painting supplies we needed. It was off to the hardware store to get a custom color paint (and no paint supplies, he said we had everything we needed), and while there, he purchased fertizlier, humas (stuff to use when planting things), a new hose and 5 new roses bushes. When we got home, he commented that it was such a nice day, he'd really like to get the roses planted. I said that I would tape and do the trim work to get started. By 8:00 that evening, the hubby was done in the yard and I was 99% done painting the entire room. So really, what does "I will paint the room" mean, or did I dream that he said that?

Probably similar to what I mean when I say "I'll" clean the house for company, and then get busy with other things so dh will do it instead.
