Do you think dogs really learn their names, or just come to something that sounds similar? I mean, poor Chester has several names that he's been called. Here's a list.....Chester (duh!), Ches, Chet, Chestrey, Chester Bob, Chesthair, Chesterfield and Snowball (boys are weird). Think he know's his REAL names?

This reminds me of the time my father spent an afternoon calling our dog Stranger by my brother Andrew's name. We just figured it was a good thing he didn't call my brother by the dog's name.
Destiny has morphed to Dusty and doesn't seem to notice the difference.
Uh, I sometimes call the girls one of the dogs names, or vise versa, but Libby will come to absolutely anything, just because she loves attention! (her favorite to come to is "kitty, kitty").
