Too Much Company?

Wow, I never realize that having company could be so stressful! At the end of September, my parents visited for 8 days. We had a great time, golfed a LOT, and generally kept busy. But while they were here I let things slip, which took some time catching up on! A week or so after they left, my husband brought his dad home with him. Granted, my FIL hasn't visited us in 11 years, and he's now a widower, but I'm telling you, it totally stressed me out! We are from 2 different worlds, and generations. Unfortunately, Eric had to work the whole time FIL was here, so he wasn't around much. They left this morning. FIL was here for a week, he did tell me that he had a great time.....I took him on a 100 mile drive one day, just to show him around. But I'm pretty sure he was ready to go home, especially since his suitcase was packed and sitting in the dining room yesterday when I got home from work, around 12:30. They didn't leave until 6:00 this morning! I am hoping now that I shouldn't have any company for a long time, I'll be able to keep up on my blog! I sure hope so!

I was thinking of maybe coming out for a visit! You know, bring the whole family, the dog... don't worry, you won't even know we're there. Promise.

Bwahaha!
Good luck with the new blog, Lisa!

In-Laws are stressful. No two ways about it.

We're already tending towards that my spouse's next visit to her mom will be solo (or more exactly, without me, perhaps helping her brother visit from out west). I stress out everytime I visit out there (western PA).

And given that my father stresses his own kids enough, it's a good thing that our spouses tend towards sainthood, because he's a gotta stress them.
