For a while there I was totally into losing weight and working out. I had a goal in mind. I was motivated. I missed my goal by .4 lbs. Yea, "point" 4. Then came a road trip and then graduation. I figured no biggie, when everyone left, I'd get back on track. It still hasn't happened. I've only worked out once and I haven't gotten back to tracking my food intake. My workout excuse is my lower back, which is still bothering me. My lack of a good diet is simply laziness and bad habits. If anyone has some inspirational motivation for me, please share!
Oh, and just a little side bar....Advil P.M. works great, after a couple of sleepless nights due to the back pain I took just one and barely woke up by 8:00 today! Good thing I don't work on Wednesdays!

Reappearing
Yes, it's been almost a month since I last blogged! Things got crazy and hectic and my brain just couldn't come up with anything interesting to write. It's still somewhat of a blank page these days! But in the past month this is what's been going on...
I went with the oldest daughter to IL so she could attend her boyfriends prom.
I attended the youngest daughter's regional track meet to see her qualify in 3 out of 4 events for state. I honestly can say track was not boring that day!
I met a few times with 3 other moms to plan our daughter's graduation party. It is kind of hectic trying to get 4 women to agree on everything, but we some how managed to do so!
I prepared for company. Eight extra people converged on my home for graduation.
I did get to golf once...at least it was 18 holes.
I made it through the graduation party, even with a meltdown by my mom. Frankly, I thought everything went really well and everyone enjoyed themselves.
I also made it through graduation, with another melt down by my mom, and although I got teary eyed a few times, I never actually cried. I did however, have a few drinks after the ceremony!
My youngest daughter finished school on Thursday and when I returned home she announced she is officially a sophomore. Something I really didn't want to hear, seeings how the oldest just graduated.
I am almost back to normal, if there is such a thing. I am tired still and have somehow managed to do something to my lower back (pelvis and tailbone area) that is quite painful. I am getting treatment and probably should go ice it. Which also reminds me I'm older physically than I feel mentally.
